  • It rocks. - Dima
  • The script was just the answer I was looking for, and the icing on the cake? It was free. I like the idea of being able to modify a single file to effect navigation for the entire site (without having to resort to using frames). As the lone webmaster of a somewhat ambitious project simplicity is an important factor. And talk about a flexible script. There seems to be no end to the way it can be configured. - DC
  • I tried about 6 different menu scripts before selecting Web DDM. It was easy, well documented, lots of examples to use and refer to. I could look at several examples and easily figure out what was going on and how to make my scripts work right. This is an excellent product that is more flexible and easier to use than many commercial programs. With this program you can have multilevel dropdown menus working in no time. Thanks! - Anonymous

Where it's being used

This is a very short, very incomplete list of where WebDDM is being used. Please let us know what other sites WebDDM is being used on.

  • Ino Village Hotel - The website for a resort on Samos Island, Greece
  • Filespot.org - Menus showing some more flexibility. Of interest are the click-to-expand menus on the Software -> Scripts page.
  • Filespot.org - Gear - Notice the nice floating menu on the left of the screen.
  • Anglo Asian Mining - The website for a mining company in Azerbaijan. This website uses some interesting WebDDM plugins.
  • Society of Practicing Veterinarian Surgeons - Fairly simple menus. This site is also running an old version of WebDDM.
  • University of Illinois at Chicago - This page has a more recent version of WebDDM on it. The WebDDM menu is the one in the middle of the page. The non-WebDDM menu, interestingly, is the one on top that is buggy to the point of being unusable.
  • The Princess Society - Pretty pink menus!
  • Diamond Blue - Nice mingling of menus and other page designs. This site is running one of the first versions of WebDDM, and also uses tooltips.
  • Rhymes With Orange - This site shows that WebDDM is great for any menu, even if you don't need submenus. Some great music here, too! Of particular interest is the fact that WebDDM is used to generate the email form on the contact page, to hide email addresses from spam bots, and it's also used creatively on the "videos" page.
  • Top10Security - Talk about creative! The menu at the top is another simple, effective menu - the best kind! Then, the titles in the security listing lower down on the page are generated with WebDDM as well.
  • Constitution Party - More fancy menus. Possibly the first political party to use WebDDM?
  • Flowers Canada - Long, vertical configuration.
  • Bovennatuurlijk - This is a non-English website.
  • canias - Another non-English site; interesting use of arrow images.
  • CKuria - Provider of emergency preparedness plans. Very effective use of menus, well-integrated into site design.
  • Rabbi Dovid Bendory - Simplistic menus on Dovid Bendory's personal site (a teacher of courses of Jewish interest).
  • ezinc - Creative and simplistic menus.
  • Renassaince Sewing - Simple and effective navigation across the top
  • Historische Kring Hoogeveen - Another non-English site using WebDDM.
  • Crooked River Motorcycles
  • webGENEius - This article shows how to set up WebDDM inside of Drupal.
