Standards
All our code conforms to our high standards. If you wish to see our coding
standards document, you may download it here. This
document is very specific, so no questions are left as to how code should
look and operate. The goals of our standards:
- Every single feature will be tested, and we will know immediately of any bugs
anywhere in the system. (this is called unit testing, or automated testing)
- The software must be easy to modify - because the only constant thing
about technology is change!
- No code will be duplicated (duplication leads to confusion, inefficiency, and bugs)
- Code will be clean, short, efficient, and professional
